Navik
Hi guys, I have a question regarding the Skyland Avenger hands. I am about to buy one and below is the picture I've received (the one with the blue dial). As you can see, the red hand resets at about 99.2-99.3 and not at 100 as in the other picture (grey dial version). Now I am not sure what this means, is this a movement issue? i.e. it needs servicing. Or, do you just need to be lucky meaning that some rep Skyland Avengers come ilke the one with the blue dial, and some as the grey dial. Because I've seen on many trusted dealers' websites both 'versions'. I've searched around the forum but couldn't really find an answer that pinpointed this problem. I hope you guys can help me out. Cheers!
importr
It doesn't matter what version you got, it's the person who assembled the watch which may not have lined up the hand 100% correctly. I've had gens which were worse than you mention. The solution is to live with it until service time, OR get someone competent to refit the hand. If, you had a 7750 which originally did line up 100%, and then didnt reset correctly....only then do you have a problem....

Because all the chronos reset as they should. Thanks again!
hackR
i'd like to add that you should buy from one of the trusted dealers here - who will make a sale right...it might not always be a simple process, but its better... also - make sure you get QC pix from the dealer you are working with...if you want a direct dial shot, ask for it...if the hand isn't right, ask for another one...the dealer should select another one and send you new pix...also request that they run and reset any chrono watch...this won't guarantee that it will work right when it arrives (anything can happen in shipping and/or it might not be checked by the dealer) but at least you have recourse because you requested that... like many things - its all about managing expectations and communications... good luck... Oh yeah, I always go with the trusted dealers if I do not search the sales section's here. I sure will, this is my first rep with chrono's so thanks for the tip!
