frankbullitt Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 I had one earlier this year from Trevor. Sold it to a buddy. Looking to pick up another one. Who do you recommend? Thanks Frank
Navik Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Depends on how much you want to spend, but I'd recommend BK. With a few mods it's an incredible watch. Personally, I think his mods are worth the higher price, rather than the 'regular' noobfactory DSSDs that trusted dealers sell.
gmtlover Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 I advise to wait for one month or so, there are new DSSD models coming out by the end of this month or in january, with superlume and perhaps a new movement. After that you can decide BK or a trusted seller
irolexu Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Makes you think where reps are gonna be a year from now

Navik Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 (edited) Yeah could someone confirm this? About the new DSSD? Edited December 20, 2011 by Navik
giobo Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 (edited) I think none of the nowadays dssd are not so great.. The best combo is the noob case+bracelet with the Trevor dial and insert+pearl modde!! Try this and you are golden..The old Eurotimez was great..I used to have one..But it is out of production.. Nowadays the noob has wrong dial markers, pearl triangle,pearl...No good for me..Just my 2c Edited December 20, 2011 by giobo
perry563 Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 I have the Eurotimz V5. Love the tight end link fit, thin, gen like, dial marker rims, crystal that sits just right over the insert, crown and CG, overall fit and finish. It's now with Pb getting an insert paint mod and pearl mod as well as a bracelet buffing/polishing. The only negatives I see are: Typical crystal distortion true of all dssd's Metal used does not have the brightness of other 316L watches. "Ring Lock System" etc engraving not the greatest I'm hoping the polishing Pb is doing will fix the brightness issue a bit.
gmtlover Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 Sorry guys, With new model I meant a better version. Indeed with superlume and little other adjustments.
Jkay Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 that sounds good. can't wait to see it.
Youngrookiewatchfan Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 who is Bk? nd how could i contact him?
irolexu Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 BK is a modder here on the forums who offers a few models of his own for sale. check BKs watch garage
Jkay Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 who is Bk? nd how could i contact him? BK buys the NoobFactory DSSD directly from Asia, modifies them, and re-sells them "as new / modded / improved" His actual forum name is BKLM1234 and he has his own sales area here, called BK's Watch Garage
405356momo Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 BK IS LIKE take a Mustang cobra and make a super Saleen ...same car better at the end
tecleitor Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 Hi, guys, what do you think about this one from perfect clones?: http://www.1-pc8838.com/000rlsd00088-deep-dweller-asia-3135-p-8307.html Better than Bk´s mod???
giobo Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 (edited) This is a noobfactory dssd..If you want a noob one for that money go with BK..Or else get the PT v7 or trevor's which are far better and cheaper... Edited January 15, 2012 by giobo
tecleitor Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 Thanks, giobo. Then, you think that the PT v7 ($198) is better than the noobfactory from perfect clones, right? Please, tell me what are the differences between them if you know, I´ll appreciate it so much for my choose
tecleitor Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 Well, in the meanwhile I´ve choosen for one from Trevor, definitely. Better the noobfactory or the Trevor´s one???
gmtlover Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 Well, in the meanwhile I´ve choosen for one from Trevor, definitely. Better the noobfactory or the Trevor´s one??? They both have their flaws..
Watchmeister Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 Now I am intrigued. Can't wait to see the new one.
Jkay Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 Now I am intrigued. Can't wait to see the new one. The v6 and the v7 are PT's way of selling the TrevorTime model and the Noobfactory model. They aren't new. Although someone said a few months ago to expect a new revision. That could be complete BS tho.
tecleitor Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 Please Jkay, wich one do you think is better right now, v6 or v7?
Jkay Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 Both the Noobfactory and "TrevorTime" models have their faults ... your choice is this ... which dial do you like better? Thin markers or thicker markers? That is the most glaring difference in these two models.
tecleitor Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 I like thicker markers, what about the case material? is the same in both? wich movement to choose? Thanks on advance
