HaydenM
Hello all. Now I have looked around through many of the trusted dealers and have been unable to find this watch. I have been able to find the watch that was released after "quantum of solace" but not "Casino Royal". Has anybody been able to find a good replica of this watch? If so where did you find it? Thank you. HaydenM P.s. I apologise for any lack of knowledge in advance. I am new to the rep world.

Judy Lee
I know a dealer who only offers Omega in his site. I have purchased a orange one from him. The quality is good, You can have a try to contact with him. His email is: replicaguides@gmail.com
HaydenM
Thanks for the reply. If you don't mind me asking, about how much would a basic omega Seamaster pro cost?
bamcky2k
i have seen this version on a few sites...but they are very poor sites and indeed so is the rep...if you want a bond watch why not go for the the black 45mm ultimate planet ocean on rubber strap or the 42mm on bracelet? both have been worn by bond in the latest films and both are fantastic reps that you will not be dissapointed with... HaydenM
If I can't find the bond special edition I was thinking the actual bond watch. (not any special edition) This is the type used in the film of casino royal. Any ideas of a good place to buy a good one of these. Also the cheaper the better but I understand with cheaper price come cheaper products. Anyone know one in between? EDIT: Also I rather the metal bands than the rubber. Just preference really. And if I wanted to ever put it on rubber it would be cheaper to buy a rubber band after than a metal one wouldn't it? bamcky2k
in genuine watch terms its always cheaper to buy on bracelet and get the rubber strap after, rep metal/rubber straps are pretty much same price from my experiance though bond in casino royale does indeed wear the blue seamaster pro for the end scenes, but for most of the film its the 45mm black planet ocean on rubber strap, in quantum of solace he wears the black 42mm planet ocean on bracelet-it was brosnan' bond that wore the blue seamaster exclusivley. as for a good rep of the seamaster pro there really aint any that are spot on...however there are a few that are more than acceptable...if you search the omega area on here a member did a comparison of a $110 version to gen and in all honesty it does look pretty good if you want the look...remember too that a good example of an genuine blue seamaster on the second hand market can be had for very little money, some quartz versions for as little as 500 quid and autos for around 650 to 800 quid if you look in the right places...as you can pick up second hand gens relativley easy and cheap im guessing thats why theres no high end rep... HaydenM
Sorry for my newbie questions but for 1. Where would I be able to find the WBK planet ocean 45 and for 2. If i was to look for the gen, where would a suggested place to find one be, in particular somewhere I could trust it was a gen.
bamcky2k
you can find the 45mm planet ocean from any of the trusted dealers on the forum, some have them at different price points with different movements etc to choose from. as for a gen seamaster secondhand, you can search the usual places like ebay and watch forums etc but as for telling if its gen or not you'll have to do your homework...if it comes with box, paperwork with serial numbers intact that match etc and clear photos then your heading in the right direction...theres so many things to list though that would help in a purchase...best bet is to use the search function on here, and also google for gen seamaster images...the more you get to know the watch the more you will know what to look for if you go for the planet ocean rep though you wont be dissapointed...try and stretch to atleast the clone eta 2824 movement too, its widely regarded as one of the best reps available
HaydenM
Just checked out a couple of the rep sites and quite like what I see. Although its not the original desired watch I don't think it's too bad what is offered. I checked on the bay and there is one cheap auto at the moment and all the others are quartz (which I'm not really interested in as if I was to put some money into a gen I would expect the nice sweep, and also not needing batteries). The reps don't run at too bad of a price but the blue planet ocean is quite rare as far as the reps go.
HaydenM
My days search has lead me to this as far as the reps go: From timeshop The bond watch pretty much like what I was looking for. http://www.timesshop.net/omega/8323-om8510-omega-seamaster-james-bond-collection-black-ss-ss-noobfatry-asian-eta-2836.html The other was the actual watch worn I believe. http://www.1-pc8838.com/omse10002-seamaster-300m-professional-blue-swiss-28242-upda-p-6805.html This picture doesn't have me feeling confident as the colours all look drab but I have seen perfect clone pics that are drab and then QC pics that are bright and beautiful. Can anyone comment on rep quality or value for money etc. Edited January 1, 2012 by HaydenM
