bumroxas
I got a couple of Pam 6497 handwind reps. 176, 177, 026, 005, and a 112. Only the 176, 026 and 005 have working crowns that spring up when the lever is released. All have been modded by me, the crown on these watches have been removed at one point in time. Removed the crowns, the springs on all of them seem to be working fine. Is there a right or wrong technique to install the crown? All are from HFactory. Watchmeister
I don't know about the reps but as far as I know all gens have the built in spring. But some crowns "spring" up far less than others. On two of my gens it is almost imperceptible. I would suspect that which reps have springs will be a function of the factory making the rep rather than a particular model.
bumroxas
the crowns seem fine though. i suspect it may be in the installation. ill get to the bottom of this and make a post here.
Watchmeister
As long as the topic has come up, can anyone tell me whether the noob factory and the H factory both use spring loaded crowns?
