wat44
I love a date on a watch in fact, I look at my watch to see the date more than wat time it is... however, looking at some Pateks recently (dress purposes only), I found that they look better without the date why does a dress watch need a date anyway? Im mean, you come home shower, change and take off your beater and put on your tux and Patek for a night at the opera you presumably know the date on the tickets already! Adeodatus
Imho , dress watch = no chrono, no date and if you are really classy no seconds either. also no phone and no wallet, bag or anything of that sort. Cash holder with cash and credit card and a nice watch are all you need for an evening at the Opera. calatrava
The Patek Calatrava 5120 is the perfect example of a dress watch with two hands and no date.
calatrava
And this is my replica Patek 3520D with quartz movement. I think all it'll take is a nice slightly domed sapphire crystal to complete the look. Edited January 19, 2012 by calatrava

Is that why Charlie Sheen wears a Patek Perpetual Calendar when he's out partying?
