Sometimes different lighting condition can make the numeral or pvd look different. Unless the gen & rep are photograph side by side then it is difficult to tell. When I purchase this watch, I thought the pvd is grey color but it is actually dark grey to black color.

received my watch and it really doesn't look like black. it's more like gun metal color. should it be black.

You bought the v1.2 correct?? From Josh? Josh does not sell the v2 which has the bit too dark case. The v2 is primarily sold by Puretime. You case is probably a bit too light in color but it's actually just a guess. You really need to see the rep and gen side by side under different lighting conditions to be sure.

Yes, you really cannot. And in real life 390 looks spot on. I love it !!!

By the way, this insanity with 360 color cases and versions is just crazy. I completely gave up on getting one a while ago. I think it would be better to just get a base that you like or even another 390 and just have it PVD coated.

The photos here never show the dial of the new 390 in its true color. You can not judge a color from Internet pictures.
