ThePimp
This may be a simple answer but as a Noob its always good to ask...........cut to the chase ...... i need to know I have a Bell & Ross BR 01-94 with a 7750 lump driving it ( my first Rep from Josh) - It sound rough when auto winding, when manual winding it feels like i am grinding the mechanism around. This watch was listed on P.C. as released in August 2009. Is it likely this is an old 7750 movement? The reason i ask is, I have taken delivery in the last 2 weeks of a Panerai 237H from Josh which is realy growing on me. The movement in this is a 7750 but is virtually silent, runs for ever and keeps perfect (and i mean perfect) time. I am guessing that the lump in my B&R is an older version (even though i only bought it 4 months ago). Is it wise to spend extra money on the B&R to get it greased up and working a bit quieter? Justasgood
Sounds like a problem in the auto wind system wheels. A service should clear it up if you haven't damaged the gears by manually winding it while rough.
