sahboo
got my 390 from Andrew on Friday...love the watch, the feel on the wrist, the solid case back...but, i notice that i have to use a lot of force to open or close the lever...then i saw that between the crown and the case, there is an octogonal piece of metal sticking out. i've had plenty of PAM gens and reps, but I've never seen that piece before. is it normal? when i open the lever and pull the crown out, you can see the steam coming out of that hexagonal piece. any of the other 390 owners have the same issue? thank you for your help. Logan
Yes its the adjustor for the crown depth.. check out the photo review Puretime did a week or so back of the noob 111 for some good pictures. It's accurate to the genuine.

Watchmeister
PAM did change over their crown tube to a hexagon so that i correct. If the crown looks high off the case and it is really tough to close the lever it is possible that the crown should be a tad closer to the case. I don't own one so I don't know if the adjustor actually works or whether the stem requires a tad shaving.
