Heywood
Just picked this movement up from the post office this morning. It's going into my DW Daytona just as soon as I have a chance to install it. The watch was purchased as a fixer-upper from a board member for a very good price and hopefully with this movement, new pushers, genuine crown and tube and new crystal it will be a keeper. Will post pics once it is finished.
RWG Technical
Nice genuine ETA 7750... How are you dealing with the 30 minute subdial issue...is this 7750 already modified or are you going to swap the parts around... Can't wait to see the final results... Lots of pics please... ubiquitous
Heywood... If you're starting with a DW with the mystery movement, you'll need a few things- -New dial for the 7750 -taller case back (to clear the rotor) As for moving the 12:00 dial to 3:00... Are you going to use a bridge from the Asian 7750?

RG It's a factory 7753. I was lucky enough to find it second hand from a fellow who posted it for sale on TZ. He bought it for a project that never came to fruition and was trying to recover some of his investment. These are so pricey new that I hadn't really considered this movement as an option, but I got a pretty sweet deal on it. Hopefully it will just be a matter of swapping hands and dial and bolting it back in to the case. If it needed any modification I'd be calling on you The Zigmeister, I'm afraid to do anything but simple stuff on expensive movements.

As long as you have the correct dial, should be an easy swap...let me know if I can help. RG
