How long does it last

I am new to collecting rep's and have ordered my first AP royal oak, its a simple steel auto watch with Swiss eta ETA2824-2 movement.

Anyway, my question is... how long do replicas (Swiss ones) keep "good" time for? and after how long will it require servicing?

best is to service it as fast as possible and then later at 5 years intervals...then it can last for 50 years keeping good time

3 -5 years before you probably need to adjust it, but you should probably service it around 5 years anyways. some people have 20 year old watches that have never been serviced that still keep great time.

Thanks for the info. By the way, does anyone have info on the quality of AP 18kt gold plated reps? Whenever I've inquired about it, when buying one, I've been told to stay away from them. I was just wondering what were your experiences on owning one.

My only gold rep had issues but it was a cheapy, probably it will be fine
