mpapa720 Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 I just ordered an IWC Mark xvi rep from Andrew. I was just wondering if anybody knew of a good place to get the blue AR on the crystal. Other than that I'm quite satisfied with the quality of the watch.
FxrAndy Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 I have new Hard finish gold AR and it looks just fine, I know IWC has a blue tone to its AR but i dont know where to get it done, all i know is the AR i get done by sweetwatches.de works and is VERY hard wearing.

I was just looking into possibly getting the blue AR, but I know it's probably going to be difficult to find. Plus, if possible, I'd like to get it done by an AD in the U.S. so I can avoid any extra customs problems, etc. I'm satisfied with the colorless AR that it comes with. However, if I could find an AD that can do the bluish tint on it to make it closer to the gen then all the better.

cougar1 Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 I think the gold AR that Uwe does is superb, I have it on a cheaper franken PO, goes great with black strap! Also I was sure some other modder somewhere on one of the fourms did a blue tint AR, if I find details I let you know!
