great watch, but asian unitas is to light

watch is much lighter than the version with swiss unitas...

also is the watch to thinn... and the markers on dial to big... the hands also to big

True that the numbers are too thick. The hands are harder to spot. The watch is going to be much lighter anyway as the gen is platinum regardless of the movemnet. The decorated movement is a surprisingly good rep visually. All in all I think at $127USD it is still probably the best Asian rep around right now for the $ along with the Noobmariner...

The movement on yours is interesting. I haven't seen that one before. Of course it looks nothing like the gen but is very nice just the same...

No - that would be hoping for too much. To put your question in context, Jos offers a Panerai box, complete with papers, for about $80.

I believe that Robbieg told us where he got the box, in a different post.

As has already been said, the Jones is astonishingly good value. But don't expect a replica box set in with the price.
