*Aero* Posted April 8, 2012 Report Share Posted April 8, 2012 I started collecting wines for these last five years - mostly local premium wines - I'm curious to see what's in your wine cellar...especially local wines! I am by no means a wine expert, just like to hide away a couple of good bottles to enjoy at a later stage. Just hope that by the time I open them up they'll be better than they are now! Wine pricing is also an issue - our local Maltese wines are not too expensive I believe, an average price would be around 20Euro for a good bottle, with prices going up to 500Euro for vintage premium ones. Here is my favourite - I started collecting it just because I liked the label! it also tastes as good as it looks and besides that only about 6000 bottles a year are produced so I'd say it worth collecting This is the Grand Maitre 2009, its a blend of cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc from a local wine maker.
