johnnyshredzz Posted April 11, 2012 Report Share Posted April 11, 2012 I saw that the "Royal Oak Reserve/Duo Time SS/SS White Asian 23 Auto" is the newest AP out right now which came to market late February and I was wondering if any one knew how this version is? Is the "Asian Automatic Movement, 23J, Functional Power Reserve, Working 2 Time Zone, Decorated Rotor" a good movement? I always thought that the sec@12 had the best movement but I am not sure. I was wondering why they have models with that movement for sale for about half the price of any watch with a working chrono? If I were to guess I would say you were making a riskier purchase buying a $500+ watch with a chrono and a movement that might crap out at any time. At that price though, I say you should buy it, do a review, and if you dont like it, sell it! It kinda surprises me that there actually is a gen version of that watch, pic below The rep actually looks fairly accurate.
