d4v1d
Hi, My a7750 stops running as soon as I press the Start/Stop pusher. It starts running again after I stop the chrono by pressing the start/stop pusher again.. Ofcourse the chrono second hand does not move. It stays at 12. Can I fix this myself perhaps? Thanks in advantage.
Ephry73
Seconds at 6 , or 9?
Justasgood
Terms escape me, but the wheel engaging the chrono seconds hand needs adjusting. There is an eccentric screw that should vary the engagement tension/force..
d4v1d
Thanks. Seconds at 9 It worked all the time but it stopped working suddenly.. Maybe one of the gears is stucked?
RWG Technical
Have someone competent look at it, not the local shopping mall watch battery replacement guy. If you have to ask, your better off getting someone to take care of for you. Most likely it's the tilting pinion engagement that is out of adjustment, as Justasgood suggests. There is an ecentric adjustment that adjusts the depth of engagement, if too much it will prevent the chrono from running and stop the whole movement. Or, it could be something else. Have someone qualified look at it.
