TimeStopper45 Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 I recently got my hands on a gen SMP chrono dial. But the part around the subdials is brown instead of silver: Is it because it is rusted/dirty?
TimeStopper45 Posted April 28, 2012 Author Report Posted April 28, 2012 (edited) Hmm could be. Because the color is even around all 3 subdials. No trace of silver at all. Here are some more closeup shots: So definitely not rust? Edited April 28, 2012 by TimeStopper45
Logan Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Dials are made from brass, so won't be rust. Looks likes it's meant to be like that. Also the yellow lume points to a gold watch
TimeStopper45 Posted April 28, 2012 Author Report Posted April 28, 2012 (edited) Well my watch is silver so it might look a bit silly. Ive never even seen a sold SMP chrono, who will buy this Any thought on what I should do with this dial? Edited April 28, 2012 by TimeStopper45
