I remember reading so where that Rolex first used the screw-down pusher on the 6263 in 1976.

Can anyone confirm?

Thank you.

B, screwdowns first showed up on the 6240 in 1965. The early pushers look different to the later versions, and the 6240 midcase has more in common with the 6239/41.

Yup, LHOOQ is right, 6240 was the first one, but the case is different (a little bit smaller). There are also two case versions of earlier and later 6263/6265 with the earlier one having slightly shorter lugs. I think the first 6263/6265 came out in the very early 70s and they always had screwdown pushers on these models.

6240's had MK0 & MK I pushers. Barely not found on the net (or expect to pay +3k€ the pair & be verrry fast). No aftermarket alternative I guess... :(

6263 & 6265 had the MKII (ref P301) pushers from 70 to ~75.

Then, they had the MKIII / service (ref P302) pushers, from ~75 to 87

Cheers :D

Someone sold this "6240" on the auction site last month: 160786973279

There's not one gen piece on it, but I'd like to know where the faux-Millerighe pusher came from.
