Rolexman Posted May 27, 2012 Report Posted May 27, 2012 This is the 2010 Explorer I with ETA clone. Needless to say I gave it a full service and Water Proofing. This baby goes through a lot! Mountain biking, beach volley, swimming, construction work etc. I just never take it off (sort of a endurance test) and I must say. Till now it is indestructible. The 28xx series movement is designed to be bulletproof. ..and because I love it so much a nice pic for you guys to enjoy!
MAHLER Posted May 27, 2012 Report Posted May 27, 2012 Thanks for the test and congrat for the toy. I would buy one but they are undecided, which version do you recommend for this?
Rolexman Posted May 27, 2012 Author Report Posted May 27, 2012 I bought this one. http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_3&products_id=6653 The diameter is 41mm or so. Not 39 like Andrew states...I'm wearing it for almost a year now. It needs to have 3 mods to be dead on accurate. - fill in one side of the inner clasp fold markings with black paint - replace the 'maxi' hands with slim hands - give the dial a Matte finish I couldn't care less honoustly so I did neither of them
