xxl17 Posted June 1, 2012 Report Posted June 1, 2012 Hello all, I purchased a PAM231 in gold from Andrew (trusty time) about 3 years ago or so. It has a Swiss Unitas Hand Wind with a swan neck. It recently been cleaned and is running perfectly. Unfortunately, the case isnt looking so hot. The gold is rubbing off in a bunch of spots and makes it kind of unwearable. My question is what PAM cases will that movement fit in? And if I get a new case I assume I also need new hands and a new dial. Want to stay away from gold. Where can I buy a case, dial and hands? Thanks for your help. Adam Brooklyn, NY
FxrAndy Posted June 1, 2012 Report Posted June 1, 2012 it should fit in any of the 44 or 47mm hand wind cases
xxl17 Posted June 1, 2012 Author Report Posted June 1, 2012 Thanks. Dumb question but the one I have is just a base model. No seconds. If I were to get the black seal case and dial that has seconds could that movement support it? Could a watchsmith hook it up so the seconds work? Or am I better just sticking with another base model?
