Really love this but have some concerns. Been searching a lot and see that there are concerns with the 7750 with seconds at 6. Looking for some advice. Is it such a problem that you would steer clear? Also how is the gold plating? Is it going to rub off? Look cheap? Did you pay extra for DHL or ask for it. I ordered from Andrew over 2 weeks ago and it shipped ems and still hasn't reached the US.

Which do people prefer and which is the better rep? V6 with the ceramic bezel and which I think also has the carbon fiber dial or the all stainless steel one which has the matte black dial? Going to buy one of them but can't decide. Like the ceramic black bezel but not sure about the carbon dial. Would love some opinions to push me over the edge. Thanks!

So the see through case back doesn't bother you?

Haven't seen much discussion about this watch. Do people not like it? I happen to really love it without the cage and am interested in getting one. Would like everyones opinion. I have seen it for sale in two versions. Andrew has one which has a much more accurate dial, but has a see through case back which is not accurate per gen which has a solid case back. His dial is not nearly as good as Andrews but has the proper engraved solid case back. Do you think the solid dial from Sead would fit Andrews version? Opinions much appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure if everyone saw this but Hermes, Breitling, Omega, Chopard, Omega, Henri Stern and LVMH have started a lawsuit in District Court in California seeking a restraining order preventing a number of domains from operating. TrustyTime, Puretime and Silix were all on the list as well as a ton of others. Wonder if this is connected to the raids. Thanks. Dumb question but the one I have is just a base model. No seconds. If I were to get the black seal case and dial that has seconds could that movement support it? Could a watchsmith hook it up so the seconds work? Or am I better just sticking with another base model?

I just used a guy on 53rd and 3rd who is really nice and did a full cleaning and servicng of a PAM for me. Reasonably priced as well. They are located in the subway station under the lipstick building. Its a candy store and the guy has a booth within. Forgot his name but definately worth it.

Hello all, I purchased a PAM231 in gold from Andrew (trusty time) about 3 years ago or so. It has a Swiss Unitas Hand Wind with a swan neck. It recently been cleaned and is running perfectly. Unfortunately, the case isnt looking so hot. The gold is rubbing off in a bunch of spots and makes it kind of unwearable. My question is what PAM cases will that movement fit in? And if I get a new case I assume I also need new hands and a new dial. Want to stay away from gold. Where can I buy a case, dial and hands? Thanks for your help. Adam Brooklyn, NY

So I have now read every post I can about the AP ROO reps. I really want one. So far all fot he reps I have bought have been from Andrew at Trusty Time and since every transaction has been flawless i would like to stick with him. However, he has about 83 different AP ROO "Ultimates" on his site. Anyone mind taking a swing over and reccomending one. Also, to get a top AP Roo rep am I looking at close to $500 any way you slice it? Are there any good ones in the $300 range. The wife might not be thrilled with another 500 purchase.
