GarrettP1 Posted June 20, 2012 Report Posted June 20, 2012 I'd like to hear your opinions here. At the end of May, I ordered a set of Rolex hands from Classic Watch Parts in Hong Kong. Selina sent me a tracking number in 48 hours or so, and I waited. When the hands never arrived, I checked the tracking number yesterday, and it shows that the hands were delivered 3 days after being sent (but the tracking system for Hong Kong Post doesn't show the delivery address). I have a hard time believing that the package/letter made it here to the USA in 3 days. I contacted Selina but all she said was "delivered". I asked her to fix this, but haven't heard back. Suggestions? Garrett
freddy333 Posted June 20, 2012 Report Posted June 20, 2012 I would contact CWP again & (politely) explain the problem. I agree that, unless you paid ~$100 additional for overnight delivery, 3 days is much too soon for a package to make it from Asia to the US, especially considering the day the package will spend sitting in customs. Unfortunately, most post offices & shipping companies will only release the delivery information to the sender, so they will have to request delivery confirmation from their end to see what address the package went to. For whatever it is worth, I have always found CWP good to deal with.
GarrettP1 Posted June 20, 2012 Author Report Posted June 20, 2012 Thanks Freddy. Good advice. I'll see what CWP comes up with as a solution.
