I wanted to make a bunch of vintage Damascus buckles to go along with the plethora of vintage straps. Here is the result, each one unique to itself. Being a knife collector with a particular fondness for Damascus, I can appreciate the time and skills it takes to take raw steel and make Damascus stock. This stuff is indeed a bugger to work with. do you have em in screw on buckle? Machine shop couldn't do the screw bars. It is a very hard metal and to top it off this metal is layered so there is potential for splitting. I have created a "hidden rivet" strap that allows for the changing of sewn in buckles on straps.
