Rolex GMT Master II - Which movement is the best?

Hi, I'm looking to buy a GMT Master II in SS/YG but not sure which version is best. Should I buy the one with;

1. Nickle Plated Asian Clone (Rolex 3186) Automatic Movement, or

2. Nickle Plated Swiss Eta 2836-2 Modified to Rolex Calibre 3187 Markings and Bridges, Automatic Movement.

I would appreciate someone's help as I am fairly new to this site and not sure what the differences are.

I've seen both these models on Joshua's site.

Thanks in advance

The Swiss Mvmt is the one to get. The Asian 7750 mvmt. have , for me, been unreliaable in the long term. They jjust stop ticking.

Not all, but if you want the watch to last for many years, go Swiss.

before you lay out the cash for the SwissETA, iwould want some assurances that it really is a Swiss movement. Since Swatch started choking off the supplyy of ETA movements, it's getting harder and harder to get quantities of ETA movements. also the prices are much higher. It's pretty hard to see them putting a Swiss ETA in a 300.00 USD watch today.

It could be genuine, but I would be a little skeptical.
