RBT1680
I am thinking about taking on this using all sterile parts. I really like the look of the Big Crown Bond Sub and I am not looking to get hung up on the little inconsistentcies of the Gen vs Rep. I just want the look with a solid movement for a daily wear watch. any thoughts?
perry563
I would just buy the cartel Bond watch and send to Pbdad for rework.
RBT1680
What would the rework list consist of?
JoeyB
I like the case and am using it to build a 6542. You have the options of ETA or 21J movement, and only a bit of beveling the edges makes it quite accurate looking. You need to sand down the crystal, it does not mount as the gen does, and glue it in, but that's how the cartel watch is done. These pics show the case beveled and I had it engraved between the lugs. The bezel needs beveling for a 6542, but should be good for a Sub. http://www.rwg.cc/topic/145214-its-a-red-letter-day/page__hl__%2Bred+%2Bletter
