Do you oil your rep asso?

Crude as it sounds.. Any ideas guys? I heard oiling it gives a more gen look? If so what oil would you recommend?

Leather conditioner seems to work well for me. Gives it a nice finish IMO def a lot better then stock.

Mink oil worked well for me. I've swam with several times and it has held up nicely.

Would base ball glove oil be a good treatment for a Asso ??.

should work Cats. Just go light until you get the darkened shade you desire...

It's just been oiled i will post some pics tomorrow or the day after depending on the results of treatment with glove oil.

After one treatment with baseball glove oil this is the result.

When the strap cam i felt like the leather was too dry it almost felt brittle but after the oil treatment it looks a lot better imo

By the way this is the GSW asso dep strap that came finally after local customs dubbled the price by billing me the tax and the import duties

So how do you go about applying the leather treatment? D you just wipe it on or soak the strap?

I'm gonna have a look on eBay tonight and see what I can find and treat my strap.
