jtiis Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 I know you handwind most PAMs - but was wondering if the Soprod portion of the 207/a changes anything? Is it OK to handwind this model or not?
FxrAndy Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 What is the basic movement? That the soprod module is sat on?
jtiis Posted September 17, 2012 Author Report Posted September 17, 2012 ETA 2892...and sorry on the typo...with soprod I obviously meant the 027a, not 207a...
Watchmeister Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 As someone has said the base movement is a 2892 and so they are robust enough to hand wind all you want. In the ETA world it is only the 7750's that I am careful not to overwind.
dluddy Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 Agree with Watchmeister. I wind my 027 to get some power reserve all the time
FxrAndy Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 No problems with the winding gears there at all Wind away
jtiis Posted September 19, 2012 Author Report Posted September 19, 2012 Good to know. FINALLY - if my PR on the 027a doesn't go up to 40 exactly, how do I get it to do so (I mean if I cannot handwind it that high). Is it a hand reset like one might do for chronohands that are a tad off "0"?
