The gen crystal is a good 1mm higher and it is also shaped slightly different using two contact points and two gaskets. The height implies that you either modify the inner bezel or the crystal sits somewhat higher than in the gen. I believe I have a post somewhere here comparing the two. So it is not impossible but not plug and play either.

I actually told OP in a PM that the data cyclops on the gen crystal would not fit directly over the rep date wheel.. Was I incorrect? Or is there no cyclops? I have NEVER seen a loose gen ROO crystal and I am curious.
