ogladio
Bought a Pam48 from Reg earlier this year. With help from some of you guys I was able to get my hands on an pre-j series OEM dial and a Leo datewheel. A package went off to Canada for assembling and general magic by Zig. During service, it was concluded that the balance wasn't in excellent condition: This is how it looks now with a Simona 22 mm strap and a rep buckle: No real expert on the caseback series, but has there been one without serial no / millesimation? For comparison, gen shots of C and J: Couple of wristshots: Thanks for looking, plese comment with advice on further mods and / or opinions! civic4982
Impressive, a rarely done piece. Wear it in good health!
AsiadeCuba
does the gen dial make a big difference?
w0lf
Very well done, love the strap choice The caseback on this watch is what's called a "shadow", it comes w/o millesimation, only a serial "BB" number. I think it's a perfect match for the G series dial that you have in the watch, because it makes the build more believable. With full case replacement service from PASC you always get a shadow caseback and it's likely that if you had it in for this, they replaced with a current generation minty fresh "J" >> case. Enjoy!
