I think it actually looks like the old Silix case hats 47mm in diameter without crown with the dual display and solid caseback. It’s not a bad start but would be a lot of work to get it in top vintage shape. Mine started out that way: Right Bottom left Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Looking great so far! Before assembly, may I recommend consideration of an Athaya crown instead? The sharper angles on it are more notably more accurate imho. What will go under the hood? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Such an incredible build but I’d expect nothing less from Neckyzips. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Ohhhh I see. Perhaps the Tudor Monte Carlo case is based upon the T-21 crystal instead of the T-128 crystal I had purchased since they perhaps used the case of the Daytona as a mod case instead of the 7031/2. Thanks for the input folks. I’ll have my friend measure he ID size for a correct crystal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hi folks. During a service my Monte Carlo crystal began to come apart. Although I had a Tropic 128 genuine crystal the inner diameter of the crystal was too large for the David Wong (DW) case and the outer diameter was too tight for the DW bezel. Any sources for when one might replace this crystal? Thanks in advance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Wow amazing. Is the Joe who did these rocking engravings NECKYZIPS or a different Joe? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. I heard on anther forum that some member was concerned about the Swiss movement in these which is expected. Well in fact it is a nice Swiss ETA 2836: And here is the MBK crown tube on left and Athaya 702 on right: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. No this was a gen insert as sold to me by Sub007 I also noticed the same thing. The Athaya tube is a lot thicker and needs the case to be drilled and tapped. This doesn't seem to be true for the 5513 or 1680 as my friend stated his was okay and swapped right in. Athayas tubes for 702 should be exactly the same as gen. They will fit gen crowns. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Any advice for nicer and flatter hands? The MBW seems to be small and off on the hour hand. Actually all the MBW hands are seemingly not correct. I'm considering TC hands vs. M. young hands vs. Clark's with Clark's being the least pricey at $15 or so. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
