kasigi
As per the subject really, I bought a set of Sub instructions from eBay that were described as genuine but is there any obvious way I can determine whether the booklet is gen or not? Description was: Genuine Rolex Submariner or Seadweller instruction & information booklet. Second-hand but in very good condition, as you would expect from a well cared for Rolex item! 14 full-colour pages with English text. Includes the models 16613, 16618, 16610, 14060M, and Seadweller 16600. Bid now & you may well get yourself a rare Rolex item at a real bargain price!! I am a regular genuine Rolex item seller. I do not sell fake items! Check out my feedback for your peace of mind! I offer a no-quibble money-back guarantee if you are not absolutely delighted with your purchase!! It was dirt cheap, I only paid £1.95! Caveat of if it's too good to be true it usually is probably applies but if there's no real way to tell then it doesn't matter.. chrgod
Check for spelling mistakes. I have been wondering about the same issue, regarding the box sets that our dealers sell, like the one for IWC. Are they just like the genuine? Does it really matter regardless? Assuming you bought the booklet out of interest rather than some attempt to sweeten up a potential sale package? These booklets are all over the bay and are normally very cheap - aside from some vintage booklets (early 70s not 90s which some sellers describe as 'vintage' ) which I've seen go for a couple of hundred or more
kasigi
Does it really matter regardless? Assuming you bought the booklet out of interest rather than some attempt to sweeten up a potential sale package? Does having a crown guard slightly off matter? Does having poor lume matter, does having a nice oiled bracelet matter? Yes. To me it matters. If I'm buying something described as 'genuine' then it'd be nice to know whether it actually is or not. I have no ulterior motive.
docblackrock
Easy there feek, all I meant was that AFAIK there's no demand for repp'd booklets as gens are everywhere. I'll have a look at the book I got from my AD friend and let you know if there's anything particularly you should look out for ok?
