swemoose Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 I saw this one, Breitling Hercules and it just [censored] me off. I own a gen Hercules and I know that Breitling have never made this watchdial for their Hercules. Ever since the Hercules came out, Breitling has never made any changes to it. Sent off a message to the seller and also reported him to Ebag. After a short while i receive this message back from the seller. "Excuse me, but I do not think that you are right in your position of deciding what is and what is not authentic. I have had this watch for a couple of years, and why would you think it is not authentic? Just because I do not disclose personal information of what I bought it at, does not mean I am selling something fake, does it?" My reply was; "The reason I accused you of trying to sell a cheep replica is because Breitling has never made a Hercules model with that dial. The subdial configuration should be 3,6,9, not 6,9,12. Also, the genuine one has no date window. I own a gen Hercules and I would hate to see someone spend their hard earned money on a p.o.s. replica!!!! If you would like you can go to breitling.com and see for yourself. Was there anything else you wanted? Didn't think so. I will send emails to all your bidders with the message from you and with my reply attached, until you remove the listing or add to the listing that this is not a real Breitling." Feel free to report this idiot to ebag. What a douche!!!!
warburg Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 It's still up, although I reported it, but thus far the bidding has only gone to $54.00.
warburg Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 Although I informed Ebay also, the watch is still up, with nine hours to go, and now it's at $400. I warned the high bidder. Perhaps someone else will join in.
paulV Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 Ebay policy is just 1 big joke... .... Why don't they removed it...simple....they are just waiting to collect their earnings.
warburg Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 Ebay policy is just 1 big joke... .... Why don't they removed it...simple....they are just waiting to collect their earnings. Well, now it's at $810. I sent a warning to the current high bidder.
Torques Posted November 25, 2006 Report Posted November 25, 2006 Well, now it's at $810. I sent a warning to the current high bidder. That's nice of you.
warburg Posted November 25, 2006 Report Posted November 25, 2006 That's nice of you. That bidder didn't go higher, but someone supposedly bought it for the equivalent of $1,136. I'm wondering if this was a genuine sale. Perhaps watching the "winner's" feedback will tell.
