CJT74
Can a caliber 3130 have a date wheel added to it and have it work?
panerai153
I'm not sure about the 3130, but I bought a 1570 non-date for my 1665 project by mistake. Seller was not a native English speaker, and I missed something in the description, but it was entirely my fault, not his. at any rate when I sent the watch and movement up to Ziggy to put everything together, he told me the bad news. Also what he said and others agreed, it's almost impossible to find all the calendar parts and it would be cost prohibitive to convert a non date to a date. If the same is true of the 3130 than I would bet you would be better off finding a date movement to begin with.
omgiv
I have to agree with panerai153. The data sheet for the 3130 says it is based on the 3135 but it has a lot of different parts listed. One of them being the mainplate. Finding all of the parts would be difficult or impossible.
