DW Tudor 7032 Case...

I just notice a thing when i was browsing DWs web page. I sold a dw 7032 not so long ago but i dident think of this then and i just hade the watch for a few hours or so. I just noticed this flaw now...

 

The two pics are form dw webpage with what i think is a flaw? YOU tell me...

 

Can someone with this watch pleas confirm if it is a cut (or what do you call it)

Here's a comparison of the DW case and a Phong case.  It seems as though the groove cut in for the gasket does not go all the way around on the DW case causing the "shelf" you are describing.  (DW on left side - w/crown pushers installed)

My case has a groove that goes all the way around for the gasket. I think that's just the machining for the actual case back opening. I ended up buffing those "perches" away on my build. Watch is water proof/tight with no issues.

Mine has it, I got my case last year in November or December
