AFA the comparison, it certainly depends on who you ask. there are quite a lot of us on the forum that are not particularly enthralled with the newer Rolex sport models. I find them very clunky, top heavy and not nearly as aesthetically appealing as the older models. Of course to the real vintage purist, the 16610 is a travesty, mainly because it has a sapphire crystal rather than the old acrylic.
