RyanTheMagnificent Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 I've loved Omega watches for a long time but have never been able to afford one. Now I've been looking into reps and want to make a purchase. I've seen a couple sites and been doing some homework but I could use some advice. Thanks!
cougar1 Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 Hi Welcome to the forum. The first thing is to decide what watch you like, have a few choices so if one isn't available or if it hasn't got a good replication then you can move onto the next choice. Omega replicas are a little hit and miss at the moment, other brands such as IWC, Panerai, AP are getting more attention and have better quality, more varied options, ...but still some good Omega reps. Cant go too far wrong with a PO or smp chrono, if looking for something more recent such as the newer ceramic PO's or smps then join the queue.
vandal.tbh Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 Can't wait for the ceramic bezels to come out. Then for cougar to buy one and write a review so that I can buy one risk-free... 1
cougar1 Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 I'm actually hoping they hold off for a while, on any and all new releases that is, including the Tudor black bay and a few others also, I already have a current wishlist and I've still too many watches to remove from my current lot before I can even get started on that
vandal.tbh Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 BooooI like the ceramic so much I'm contemplating saving up for a gen
cougar1 Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 Same here tbh, still humming and hawing over it.
