Curt941
So I'm looking at buying a gen 1675 and it's listed with this pretty beat up rivet bracelet. The things I'm confused about is the end links and the clasp, never seen anything like it. Clasp: End Links Bleh, stretch, is this thing even worth ANYTHING? cc33
I've seen those end links on c&i us made bands. Rule of thumb is that if the rivets have holes in the center it's a us c&i, if the rivets are solid then it's Swiss made. I've seen that clasp before on a gmt so it's fine. cc33
By the way, I always buy my watches as just the head, so I can find my own perfect band (usually on vrm) that I'm happy with. In the small chance that the band matches the head though I would check the serial #, date the watch head and then compare it to the date on the clasp of the band. If its a match then buy it together if not make a deal with the seller to buy just the head and then you can find your perfect band separately. freddy333
A-OK. If you do not want the bracelet, you are welcome to send it to me (or contact MY to see about having it restored).
cjjoyce1
That clasp is wrong for a C&I. The bracelet and end links look o.k. though This is what you should be seeing.
