freddy333 Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 The primary problems with Minh's (best) Newman dials are the slightly incorrect fonts (especially the P in COSMOGRAPH), poorly shaped crowns (I replaced mine with gens) & faux (as opposed to real) subdial depth (achieved, on Minh's dials, with a painted 'shadow'). But, overall, his best Newmans contain the least objectionable sins to my eye.
dropbear2008 Posted February 27, 2013 Author Report Posted February 27, 2013 Most of these issues have been rectified for a while, the latest being the crown which now looks the same as on the black dial above. Only his font tends to be a bit overly serif.
