seraphe
Most of us have been wishing for a good rep of the 42mm Speedmaster Professional but the best in the market right now is with Lemania movement and has wrong subdial size and/or spacing. It's been a deadend for the rep hunt while most of us end up getting a gen to satisfy our urges. Or is it? We already have the PO Chrono with correct spacing (http://www.1-pc8838.com/omse01027-planet-ocean-chrono-ssss-blkbezwht-7750-p-9797.html). The subdial spacing of the moonie is the same as the PO Chrono, so why not use the same movement mod and create a moonie rep? Why hasn't this been attempted yet? kramerica2
The moon watch is hand wound, not automatic...
cougar1
Honestly this potential speedy from the modded subdial a7750 and making it a superrep visually (it would be auto vs gen hw) has been talked about as far back as 2009 (2008 even) ....when the actual movement did come out the dealers were even saying it's being made, it's on the way etc. ...Here we are 4 years later, make of that what you will! /// Granted it would be still great to see it finally done...lots of options with broad arrows etc for great reps. But it still won't happen!
seraphe
How about just remove the rotor and convert the 7750 into a 7760? That should compensate for some of the thickness. Edited March 7, 2013 by seraphe
