iceclimber Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 (edited) I have a cartel 111h entry level from a couple of years ago, that has a problem. The winding mechanism seems to be gone. When i hand wind the movement, the seconds hand spins violently and never allows energy to be stored in the mech. I am wondering if there is anyone in Canada that could replace the movement for me?? Do the honorable members have any Canadian recommendations?? Keep in mind that the watch IS entry level... I would like to send it out for a new engine, and maybe a lume job..... any info is appreciated...... ice Edited March 23, 2013 by iceclimber
korneevy Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 You can either get a movement from any TD for around 100$ shipped and do a swap or simply get one of the noob or h fac pieces for around 300$ and move your piece in parts for may be 60-70$ if they are any good. I won't bother with resuming and mods as it will take some amount of money and a few months to get done, and still be inferior to the new reps.
