Hey guys. I got scammed by a seller on another forum he sold me a broken watch. It is a PAM 187 with a 7753 movement not only is the date pusher broken(knew this before) but the watch also will not run. I am based in the US and have been out of the loop for awhile regarding repair work.

If you searched the fourm alittle you would have come up with this,

Domi

Zigmister

Vac

Rolexman

Md2020

And a bunch more

I am aware of Zigi who is not taking new work at this time

Domi is in Europe

I have used Vac for mods but prefer not to have him do service/repair work.

But I think we decided that I am sending the watch to you so all is good. It will be in the mail as soon as I beat this cold.

When it comes to searching for anything the search box is your friend. Lol

For [censored] sake do not preach to me like I am a [censored] noob. I knew about all of these guys. They where not the solution to my problem. You have been here like 4 months. I have been on these forums for years.

searching is hopeless - all sorts of unrelated things come up

always ask - for everyone asking a question  - there are many others interested in the answer, too

Pretty correct. You have to glean through a lot of superfluous information in hopes of finding the pearls!! There are lots of folks here who are interested in finding out more info, so there really isn't a stupid question nor is their a stupid answer, provided the question is valid, and the answer is relevant to the question. Sometimes we get a little testy here, especially when folks ask the same questions over and over. The biggest problem often is the question(s) are so generalized that it's practically impossible to answer. If someone asks a specific question, they should expect a specific answer if the question is too general, then maybe no answer. Here is and example:  I would like to know about GMTIIC's, so I ask who has the best GMTIIC? OK, so here's the problem. What price are you wanting to pay 180.00USD tops, 300.00 USD or more. What type movement do you want, Asian clone.Swiss ETA, etc.  What I should ask is a more specific question like who has the best GMT with CHS movement and AR'ed Cyclops, or  who sells the BP GMTIIC's? The more specific the question, the more accurate the answer
