ive got $40 to spend on a caseback opener tool, a springbar tool, and a set of screwdrivers, tried the other RWG, but their shops processing sucks.

i have a Ceramic Planet Ocean 42 incoming from TT, and id like to go through the basics before i do anything else with it once it arrives.

search Amazon..."watch tools kits"  you can pick one up for about $20

thing is in my understanding you get a lot of tools for your money, but usually the quality per tool sucks, and i wanna be careful and get a few quality tools as i dont wanna mess up my Ceramic PO when it comes (was $353 shipped)

I would say spend alitle more on a spring removal tool so that the metal doesnt break or bend when you go to remove the braclet. There is a huge difference between the crappy china made and swiss made tools. Heres a few links to the bergeon tools, all my tools that i use are made by bergeon and i swear by them. Good quality. Theres also a company AF Switzerland and they make good quality tools as well. Also try searching ebay for what you need.

What he says.

I got a springbar tool from the kit sold by Amazon for under ten bucks and the fork is all bent and stuff. It's useless now.

like i said, i wanna spend something on a few choice quality tools for the basics, and if need be i could perhaps add a bit more to the total fund, $40 was just a starting point, but id prefer to stay below $50 for all 3.

If you just want some good screwdrivers get a small set of bergeon or you could buy them as singles.

It really depends on what kind of case back opener you want, i use the sticky ball on alot of watches since it doesnt have any chance of leaving marks, and for the tougher cases i have a few different openers. I would say go to http://www.ofrei.com/page235.html and take alook at what he has in terms of tools.

i have a sticky ball, but id like something more precise, and i really only need one flat screwdriver, maybe two if the movement screws need a different size screwdriver.

The AF Swiss screwdrivers are ideal, and very good quality, I highly recommend them.

Bergeon is also best for your springbar tool as Mike recommended too, the cheap Chinese/Indian crap breaks very easily, and defeats their purpose.

the only thing is at the price they are i wanna get one or two that are the perfect size, and i cant seem to find what size i need and there are way too many sizes in close differences to guess.

Save your money mate, and get enough so you can get everything you want/need.  For some inspiration, check my thread over on the other RWG linked below.. Check both pages as updated complete list to date is on page 2.

im seeing this set of "French" screwdrivers from Otto Frei ranging from .6-1.5mm, would that work, near "Swiss" quality like Bergeon and AF Swiss (which are like 3x as much)?

Indeed Mike lol.  I am happy with the tool kit, but on items of such weight, and bulk like the timegrapher, water resistance tester, ultrasonic cleaner etc I would get stung heavily with shipping from Aus, so its a no brainer really why I chose elsewhere for those.
