tyrantblade Posted May 17, 2013 Report Share Posted May 17, 2013 (edited) ive got $40 to spend on a caseback opener tool, a springbar tool, and a set of screwdrivers, tried the other RWG, but their shops processing sucks. i have a Ceramic Planet Ocean 42 incoming from TT, and id like to go through the basics before i do anything else with it once it arrives. There is a huge difference between the crappy china made and swiss made tools. Heres a few links to the bergeon tools, all my tools that i use are made by bergeon and i swear by them. Good quality. Theres also a company AF Switzerland and they make good quality tools as well. It's useless now. like i said, i wanna spend something on a few choice quality tools for the basics, and if need be i could perhaps add a bit more to the total fund, $40 was just a starting point, but id prefer to stay below $50 for all 3. I would say go to http://www.ofrei.com/page235.html and take alook at what he has in terms of tools. i have a sticky ball, but id like something more precise, and i really only need one flat screwdriver, maybe two if the movement screws need a different size screwdriver. I am happy with the tool kit, but on items of such weight, and bulk like the timegrapher, water resistance tester, ultrasonic cleaner etc I would get stung heavily with shipping from Aus, so its a no brainer really why I chose elsewhere for those.
