nass
Hi guys not sure if this is the right forum, I bought a sub c from Trusty Time and unfortunately it has had some condensation build up, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a watch maker to me based in Lonond or in the UK that would be able to re-seal and make this water resistant etc Thanks in advance Nass
FxrAndy
Well first thing it to get it dry inside. You need a zip lock bag it Tupperware small box and some silica gel packs or rice, open the case back or at least open the crown and seal the watch in the bag or container, the silica gel or rice will absorb the moisture that is inside the watch. nass
Thanks Andy, I will do that today, once this is done is there any way to seal it myself or does it need to go back to a watchmaker?
FxrAndy
It realy needs stripping and checking to find the leak in the first place then if found remedial action can be taken to seal it. Yes you can do it your self if you have tools and experience
