A7750 day/date change and hour counter questions

I recently bought a new IWC 3717 from a member and tested it out and found some things I need help on.

The day changes at around 9-10pm and the date at 3-4pm.

The hour counter is registering even when the chrono function isn't set.

How can these be fixed?

I mean the hour counter is registering each hour without the use of the chronograph.

I set the time this morning at 7am and now, at 6pm, the hour counter is at 11.

It resets like it should but it shouldn't be running at all unless I engage the chrono.

What's going on?

Hour counter brake issue. No other solution than to pull of the dial and hands and replace the brake.

It seems like the hour counter lock is fine.

Also, are the hour hammer and hour hammer lever positioned correctly?
