cousin_hub Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 Hi Rolex experts What do you think of this LV ? What are the flaws ? Thanks
By-Tor Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 Good? Depends what you compare it to. Compared to WM9 or TC it's very weak rep. If it's a cheap one (under $100) it's ok. Good: Nice dial Nice datemag (correctly positioned) Bad: Awful SELs Oversized crown Not-so-good crown guards Really weird looking crystal/rehaut combo I believe this is the old WM9 from Eddie Lee/River. It was good back in 2004 but times have changed. The best thing about it is the genuine Swiss ETA movement which it (most likely) has.
cousin_hub Posted July 24, 2013 Author Report Posted July 24, 2013 It's an old version sell by Sead for 159$ The movement is a clone 2836 Is it the same for you here ? http://imgur.com/a/2j9nn
cousin_hub Posted July 26, 2013 Author Report Posted July 26, 2013 The rehaut wasn't engraved before 2008 http://www.newturfers.com/vb/showthread.php?t=8171 Mark 1: Oval 'O', 'R' in 'Oyster' aligned with gap between left and right feet of 'R' in 'Rolex', '5 Ticks', Flat 4 (2003 Issue Models ONLY), From Y966xxx 19 September 2003 To F068XXX November 2003 Mark 1: Oval 'O', 'R' in 'Oyster' aligned with gap between left and right feet of 'R' in 'Rolex', '5 Ticks', Flat 4 (2004 Onwards) From F100000/F110000???
