Hi All,

 

I have been offered what is believed to be a Eddie Lee fiddy by a friend.

Are there any tell tail signs I should look for?

 

Looking through the case back I can make out the ETA stamp.

the Y cab is the easiest to look for.

Hi Folex,

I've checked the Y cab and it appears that the movement is a hybrid swiss / Chinese which I hear is correct.

Do you know of any case markings that distinguish it from other makers?

Thanks Mellons, it does look really nice. Still unsure as to if it is a Eddie Lee version. From what I've read he was the only one to provide these movements.

I think it most probably is and I have the option to get it with box and papers.
