  1. Assume thats a 996 or 997. Was very close to pulling the trigger on a 996 turbo with x50 pack. The thing did shift but was missing the character of the air cooled cars. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Rover P6, classic car. Got to run the v8 though. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
  3. Whilst i'm at it I may as well go down the gt2 route lol. To be honest would love to but I believe hacking a car like that would be sacrilege and would prefer to do bolt on and off mods. Already have the rear wing and wheels just on the hunt for sills and spiltters. Fortnately its aready been mildly tuned, suspension, geo and has a full leather interior done by a top end uk upholster.
  4. Wow astonjenks just seen the Labrador watch, what a fine piece. 50mm not sure if I could pull that off!! Learn something new everyday reference the Labrador / Omega link, very interesting.
  5. For me definitely a F40 or 959. Love the Gt40 and also some of the rare cars mentioned on this thread. Shelby Daytona or an Aston DB5. Even the old sl300 gullwing. I'm more into my cars than my watches and have had some interesting cars so far. The most fun was a Caterham fireblade since then it went a little down hill for me Honda Civic Type R, Honda S2000 but for the last year or so I've been taking care of this And I love it. Looking to give it the 993 rs treatment soon. When looking for a new car I started off wanting an aston v8 vantage, then worked my way through the maserati 4200gt and gransport and finally settled on the above. One of my dream cars and the misses was great about it. However told her that I fancy a ferrarai f355 next and she wasn't so impressed.
  6. Just taking in the banter my friend lol. I registered to read up on the pam 288k and since then didn't do much... will try to be more active going forward.
  7. I have lots of aftershaves but wear the following on rotation most often to work. Tom ford Joop (never used to like this 10 years or so ago but seems to have grown on me.) Cool water
  8. Thanks Mellons, it does look really nice. Still unsure as to if it is a Eddie Lee version. From what I've read he was the only one to provide these movements. I think it most probably is and I have the option to get it with box and papers.
  9. Love this watch, where did you get the case set from and what does it measure? Not so sure on the yellow strap but thats my personal taste, all in all a very nice project.
  10. Hi Folex, I've checked the Y cab and it appears that the movement is a hybrid swiss / Chinese which I hear is correct. Do you know of any case markings that distinguish it from other makers?
  11. Hi All, I have been offered what is believed to be a Eddie Lee fiddy by a friend. Are there any tell tail signs I should look for? Looking through the case back I can make out the ETA stamp. Thanks
  12. I have a UPO 45.5 and have to say its a fantastic watch. The watch pictured looks really nice however have read that the ceramic fades over time. Is the crown screw in tightly? or does it feel loose with only a couple threads keeping it secure?
  13. That is incredible, as they say "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery".
  14. Hi All, Long time lurker and thought I would introduce myself to you all. Love the vibe on this forum, very friendly and informative bunch.
