My 2008 Skyland is finally seeing her end

Hey everyone! It's been a while but I'm back on the boards. My '08 Skyland is finally seeing the end. It's been a good 5 year run with her. It's too bad because she still looks great!

No matter what adjustments I make to the regulator, she still ends up running 5 minutes slow a day.

I figure 5 years on a rep is pretty good!

The bright side is that I just ordered two new watches from Andrew; banana Seawolf and a S-Avenger!

Thats good going really.  You could always swap out the movement.

The watch looks absolutely brilliant..the blue dial is mesmerising..i think though that a maroon colored brown starp would look even better than that blue one..just a polite opinion..

Wear it still. Who cares about 5 min a day. You dont wear it all day long. If you only wear it for 8 hours how much time does it lose? 2 min?

Sell it to me.  I have a fresh movement waiting to go in.  It looks too good to retire.

5 years is a heck of a life for a "cheap ol'" rep.  And even then, 5 minutes a day is nothing.  Heck I am sure there are reps forum members are wearing that keep worse time.  If you give up on that you have the challenging quest to find the replacement! haha.
