Embarrassing question on my first purchase

Hi,

 

I received my first ever rep today - a Calibre S from Watch Eden - but I've I've got some very noob questions I'd like to ask.

 

I seem to have enabled the chronograph mode as pressing the top button starts and stops the second hand, and the bottom button makes it zoom back to the 12 o'clock position... how do I get back to normal "time telling" mode? 

 

Also, in chronograph mode the second hand works as expected but I'm confused by the 2 smaller dials. The 9 o'clock dial (marked 10th sec) moves slowly when the chronograph is started... what's it supposed to be for? I thought it should tell the 10ths of a second when you stop the chronograph. Also the 3 o'clock dial (marked 100th sec) doesn't move at all - should it?

Hmm unless its a quartz movement propably not!

I dont think a rep has a mechanical 1/100th function!

It's a quartz watch according to their site - I can't put a link as I've not made enough posts yet, but on their site the item number for the one I received is 120318.

If full chronograph functionality, the large chronograph hand should indeed stay at 12 o'clock position, and your seconds (second hand) will be in one of the sub-dials.

With the Calibre S movement, pushing the crown in (like a button) should switch between chrono and time mode. give that a try. Also, when you stop the chronograph the 1/10 and 1/100 dials should indicate fractions of a second, while the chrono is running the should not be moving. I'm not sure but I thought the Calibre S reps used the same movement as the gen but that may not be true.
