What Type Of Glue For Bezel Insert

Looking for some help to determine the right kind of glue to use to glue the bezel back. I just got a New Omega Seamaster Pro Chrono and the bezel came loose and fell right off as soon as i unwrap it.

ive had good success with clear nail varnish on the back. strong enough to hold down but allows the insert to be easily removed if needed.

i suppose any colour would work too if you have a particular preference

You can pick a tube up on the 'Bay for a couple $$

double sided sticky tape cut to size and stuck at about 4 or 5 points around the bottom of the bezel insert.

no hassle no mess and no risk

worked for me, cheap and easy.

I use two-part epoxy. I use a standard 2" sticky note pad as a mixing palette and use one small drop of each part mixed with one side of a tooth pick. Once mixed, I use the other sharp clean end of the tooth pick to put a tiny dot of it at six points around the bezel and I roll a thin film across the back side of the pearl.

Works perfectly, never fails, and removal is still possible if you are careful.

I use superglue which adheres well, but I have not had to remove the insert. In theory, you should be able to do so by soaking cotton in nail polish remover and working it around the bezel edge, but I have not tried to to that.

In the USA I buy it cheap at my local Hobby Lobby store.

It is a very common glue for arts / craft bead workers.
