How bad is my pearl? Did i mess it up?

Hello,

Long story short.

I bought a BP maker Sub-C.

The pearl fell off the day after it arrived. Including its cup. Since im new to this forum and unexperienced in modding i tried to fix it by cleaning the triangle and using superglue to attach it again. Later i read that it was better using epoxi, but hey, its already to late.

I believe now that i relumed it the pearl sticks out a little too much. So its too high.. also for some reason i scratched the triangle and now some grey paint came off.

My question. How bad is this pearl? If so, what is the best way to fix it? Should i buy a new bezel/pearl? if so, do all bezels/pearls fit the BP? and where to get the best one?

Obviously im hoping  that there are other, easier ways to fix this.

Here are some pictures. its pretty hard to see actually, using my Phone for the pictures and focus not working from distance.

See if you can go to an AD, and handle the real watch. That is the best way to see and feel the difference between rep and gen.

Congrats on modding, but really.. super glue will ruin crystals and inserts if your unlucky.

doesn't look that bad. I also have a similar problem, the pearl fell off without me ever noticing after a week of light use. Now I have a useless bp sub because I cant wear it until the replacement pearl arrives. It seems like a common problem for the bp sub. not good at all.

anyway thanks for the tip on the epoxy. I really hate having this kind of a problem, since although we handle reps, they should at least make it so that problems like these never happen. I mean its still a 300 dollar watch. they could at least build it that it doesn't fall apart after a day or two.
